If you are not sure, always use the beginner video and slowly work your way up. To avoid soreness and injury, individuals contemplating an increase in physical activity should start out slowly and gradually build up to the desired amount to give the body time to adjust.
Are the instructors who appear in the Slimtree fitness videos certified?
Every Slimtree.com owned video includes a certified instructor and an assistant or professional model. This may not apply to other YouTube videos that are posted to Slimtree.com.
Can you give me any suggestions on how to use the fitness videos?
Make sure your surroundings are safe from obstacles and do not impede or endanger you in any way while you are learning from the fitness videos. Get rid of distractions. Turn off your radio or TV, if necessary. Create an atmosphere where you can relax and devote your full attention. For best results, try to start an exercise approximately 5 ft. away from your screen and view your video at full screen mode. Set your volume level to one that is clear and concise.
Always start and end your workout with the warm up/stretching video. Workout at your own pace, ability and do not over exert yourself. Exercises can be vigorous.
